• Find and click on the Wireless Network option.
• Now, you have to fill up the new username and password.
• Save the settings by clicking on the Apply button.

2. Connect Extender on Optimal Location

The other solution to make the extender network safe is finding an optimal location in your home. Electromagnetic waves can interrupt your RangeXTD network speed and reliability. But, you can solve it; just plug it far from the electronic devices.

3. Change Frequency Bands According to Area

Yes, RangeXTD device provides dual bands technology which you can access through the interface. There are two options in bands one is 2.4 GHz and other one is 5GHz. In 2.4 GHz option, you can use the more speed, but low coverage. In 5 GHz, you can use internet in large area, but you will face low speed.

To adjust the frequency bands;

• Access the interface in your computer or laptop by using 192.168.7.234 IP.
• Go in to the Wireless option in the interface dashboard.
• Here, you have to choose the frequency option.
• Select the band according to your need or area and save it.

To apply all the changes you can also reboot the device once by powering it off and on.
