How to Connect RangeXTD Extender to WiFi7 Router?

The RangeXTD range extender is one of the WiFi boosters that connect with any type of the router or mesh router. There are two ways to connect the extender with the router; WPS button and LAN cable. Let’s start to connect RangeXTD extender to WiFi7 router.

Check WiFi 7 Router Settings

The WiFi router with the new technology operates with a specific app that is provided by the brand on the phone app store. As example, if you have Netgear WiFi 7 router, then access the Netgear Nighthawk app to check the settings.

To access the app, you have to use the admin credentials (username and password). In the app, you can check all settings configuration and after it you can initiate the RangeXTD setup

Connect RangeXTD Extender

The extender is a plug-in device that you can plug directly in to the electric wall socket. You don’t need any power cord for it. Then just follow the instructions:

• Plug in the extender in to the working power outlet.
• You must slide the AP and repeater button to repeater mode.
• Then, turn on the device by just pressing the power button.

Now, you can start the login process to finish the setup and connect with the seamless network in your home.

Start RangeXTD Login Process

Before logging in to the interface, you must connect extender with WPS method to the router. Press the router WPS button and then press the extender button. These devices will connect with each other.

Connect your computer or laptop to the WiFi extender via Ethernet cable or SSID network wirelessly. Then, follow the instructions:

• Open the web browser in your computer and search the default IP address 192.168.7.234.
• You will reach to the interface RangeXTD login/a> page, where you must type in the admin username and password.
• Press the ENTER button or click on the LOGIN button. You will get to the extender interface dashboard.
• From the interface, you can configure the settings of the RangeXTD extender and complete the installation.

Change Extender Admin Login

Open the web browser and access the interface using the admin default username and password. Go to the Settings > Admin Settings > Select username or password field to change > enter the new username and password. Then you must SAVE the settings.

Change Extender WiFi Password

Open the web browser and access the interface using the IP address 192.168.7.234. Go to the Settings > Wireless Networks > Select SSID > enter the new username and password. Then, you must SAVE the settings.

Connect to RangeXTD Network

After installing the WiFi extender in your home, you can connect with the device network again. Use the new credentials (SSID) to connect the internet devices (phone or computer or laptop) with the extender.

Note: If you want to change any settings, enable or disable any features, and change SSID details then you can access the interface again.
