How to Connect RangeXTD to Asus AX86U?

RangeXTD is one of the best extender providers. The RangeXTD extender is pretty easy to setup and connect with your home router. To initiate the setup, you must check the router settings first and then connect RangeXTD to Asus AX86U router using RangeXTD login.

Check Asus AX86U Configuration

Before connecting RangeXTD extender to the Asus AX86U router, you should check all configured settings of the router. Have a look at some steps to check:

Connect computer with router network via LAN or SSID details.
Open browser and search the 192.168.1.1 IP address to reach the Asus router interface.
On the interface login page, you have to enter the admin username and password.
Now, click on the LOGIN button, a dashboard will open up.

Connect RangeXTD to Asus AX86U

To connect the RangeXTD extender to the Asus WiFi router, you can use the WPS method as well as Ethernet cable.

WPS Method

Plug the extender to power outlet.
Find the extender WPS button and press it once.
Now, press the WPS button on the router.
Within few minutes, both the devices will connect with each other.

Cable Method

To connect the extender with the router, you need an Ethernet cable.
Plug the cable’s end to the router LAN port and extender only port.
Then, plug the extender to the power outlet and turn on the device.

Adjust RangeXTD Extender Settings

It is time to configure the extender in your computer or laptop after physical setup.

Connect a PC or laptop to the RangeXTD extender network.
Open the web browser and enter the IP address 192.168.7.234.
Search it and you will get to the RangeXTD setup login page.
Here you have to enter the username and password (admin)
You will find the admin credentials on the label of the extender or in the user manual.

Enter the credentials and clicking on the LOGIN button, which will load up the interface dashboard. Now, you can create a network name and password. After that, you can use the extender internet service that RangeXTD provides.
